Lee Paul JEFFRIES, age 51, of Westview (Breckinridge County), Ky., died 
Thursday, June 2, 1960 at his home in Westview.  The son of the late Ella (Lou 
Ella) OSBORNE JEFFRIES and Sylvester JEFFRIES.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Louise JEFFRIES
one son:
James L. JEFFRIES, Hatfield, Ky.
one daughter:
Mrs. Mark TABOR, Dayton, Ohio
one sister:
Mrs. Carroll SILLS, Fairborn, Ohio
two brothers:
Ray JEFFRIES, Harned (Breckinridge County), Ky.
Harry JEFFRIES, Kingswood (Breckinridge County), Ky.
2 grandchildren

The funeral was held on Saturday (June 4, 1960) at Westview Methodist Church 
by the Dowell Funeral Home of Hardinsburg (Breckinridge County), Ky., and 
burial was in Kingswood Cemetery.

OSBORNE is one of my family names, and the information I am sharing is from my 
own personal research.  Peggy Russell

I visited the Kingswood Cemetery in the 1990's, and took pictures of the 
tombstones of Lee Paul and his second wife Laura Louise (maiden name unknown 
to me).

          Laura Louise    1916 -- ____.

Lee Paul married first to Flora Clark.  They divorced after their two children 
were born.  I visited the Sand Knob Cemetery the same week, and found the 
single tombstone for Lee Paul's first wife.

JEFFRIES, Flora E.    May 23, 1902 -- May 1, 1985
daughter of Charlie CLARK and Ada "Dolly" MILLER
Flora Clark and Lee Paul JEFFRIES married July 16, 1929 at Hardinsburg Ky. in 
Breckinridge County, Ky.  I have a xerox copy of their marriage record.

Lee Paul Jeffries maternal grandparents were:
William Benjamin Jefferson OSBORNE (somestimes found spelled OSBORN) and 
Melvina LEWIS.
Lee Paul's paternal grandparents were:
Ed JEFFRIES and Mary Tiny LYLE.
