Page 6,  Lodiburg News Item:  Funeral

     Quite a crowd gathered at Walnut Grove last Sunday, it being the funeral 
services of Mr. Marvel Jordan, conducted by Reverend Quinn.  Those from a 
distance were:
Mr. Gus Gibson and family, Cloverport
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Robertson, Preston
Messrs. Nick Norton and Tom McCoy and Miss Mary Norton, Garfield
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Jolly, Sample
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gibson, Sample
Mrs. Albert Bennett, Sample
Mr. and Mrs. James Jolly, Sample
Mr. and Mrs. Pomp Broomfield, Sample
We think Reverend Quinn preached one of the most appropriate sermons we ever 
had the pleasure of listening to.  He is one of the best and most eloquent 
speakers we have had to fill the Walnut Grove pulpit for several years.
