KEESEE was within 3 or 4 feet of the converted 55-gallon metal barrel when it exploded. Sheriff Bobby Kennedy said, and although two other men were nearby, neither were injured. The accident occurred between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Monday, the sheriff said, at the Rocking K Ranch near Hudson, as Fred Clark, operator of the Rocking K Ranch, KEESEE, and other farmers were using the steamer to bring tobacco into handling order for stripping. The farm had been the scene of another tragedy earlier this year when Father James M. Harney, a Louisville Priest, was killed in a plane crash there on October 2. Surviving Mr. KEESEE are: his widow, Mrs. Louise SMILEY KEESEE three daughters: Mrs. Phyllis KINDLE of Hudson, Ky Miss Teena KEESEE of Hudson, Ky Mrs. Sharon ALLGOOD of Custer, Ky two sons: Donnie KEESEE of Custer, Ky Ronnie KEESEE of Hudson, Ky three sisters: Mrs. Ilene GREGORY of Hudson, Ky Mrs. Erlene ALLEN of Hudson, Ky Mrs. Catherine JAGGERS of Louisville, Ky two brothers: Hobson KEESEE of Louisville, Ky Herbert KEESEE of Louisville, Ky 5 grandchildren The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Hudson United Methodist Church.
