OBITUARY   Pabe 5
     Mrs. Shelba J. KENNEDY, age 58, of Custer, Ky in Breckinridge County, 
died Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at her home.  She was born on May 8, 1943 in 
Texas, and was the daughter of the late James Vernon and Delphine GRIFFIN.  
She was retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a corrections 
officer.  Surviving are:
her husband, Jerry KENNEDY of Custer, Ky
two daughters and sons-in-law
three step-sons
two sisters
three brothers
8 grandchildren.
(All children, step-children, sisters, and one brother live in Texas; one 
brother of Arizona; and one brother of Louisiana)
     The funeral was held on Friday, February 15, 2002, from the Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with burial in the New Bethel Cemetery.

Unknown if Mrs. Shelba J. GRIFFIN KENNEDY has a tombstone.

Hardinsburg, Ky in Breckinridge County on New Bethel-Stephensport Road, off KY 
Highway, 259.
