OBITUARY
     Lessie E. KENNEDY, a 78 year old Garfield, Ky resident of Breckinridge 
County, died on Friday, June 16, 1989 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in 
Hardinsburg, following a lengthy illness.  Mr. KENNEDY was born in Breckinridge 
County on February 5, 1911, a son of the late Roy and Carrie NORTON KENNEDY.  He 
was a retired farmer, and a member of the Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
     He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Anna Mae KENNEDY
four step-daughters
one step-son
three nephews
and several great nieces and great nephews
     The funeral was held on Sunday, June 18, 1989 at the Freedom Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church near Garfield.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery under the 
direction of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.



Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
