Burns Funeral Home
Joyce Ann King, 70, of Utica, KY passed away Wednesday, 
May 17, 2017 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY.
Joyce was born March 24, 1947 in Breckinridge County 
to the late Roland and Viola McManaway Smith. She worked 
as an RN for several years, many of them at local 
nursing homes.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing, but 
celebrating the life she lived her sons, Johnnie 
King of Lewisport, Roger (Tracy) King of Hardinsburg; 
daughter, Sheri Stevens, of California; brothers, Leroy 
Smith, Lewisport, Lawrence (Lugie) Smith, Hardinsburg, 
Bernard (Tavia) Mattingly, Hardinsburg; sister, Rosetta 
(James) Cravens of Maceo.

The family will receive friends and family from 
2:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday, May 20 at Cloverport Funeral Home, 
208 East Main Street, Cloverport, KY 40111 with burial 
following at Cloverport Cemetery.
