Jeffery E. “Jeff” King, 56, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at U of L Hospital 
in Louisville.

He was born March 15, 1959 in Mobile, Alabama, the son of the late Edsel and Mary 
Josephine Newsome King and preceded in death by a sister: Sammie Meredith and 
brother: Larry Johnston.

Jeff attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Kingswood, KY, loved his family and
friends, 
told them he loved them often and loved to be with them. He was a roofer for 11
years 
and was a self-taught auto mechanic in Lodiburg, KY.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia A. “Patty” King; 4 children:
Amanda 
(Shawn) Fetch of Webster, KY, Jeffery Michael (Talia) King and Christopher Dewayne 
(Tara) King of Lodiburg, KY and Stephanie Dian (Tony) Townsell of Madisonville, KY.

Sisters: Dian Johnston-Gordon of Finchville, KY and Terry (Dan) Sanders of
Crittenden, 
KY; Brother: Ronnie (Nancy) Johnston of Brandon, Mississippi; 8 ˝ grandchildren and

several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon E.D.T. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from the 
Hillcrest Baptist Church in Kingswood, KY with burial to follow in Walnut Grove 
Cemetery in Lodiburg.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 P.M. E.D.T Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the
Alexander Funeral 
Home in Irvington and after 9 A.M. E.D.T. Wednesday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 191 Hwy. 232,
Harned,
