OBITUARY

     Barry KIPER, age 37 of Harned in Breckinridge County, died on Tuesday, 
October 15, 2002 at his residence.  He was born on June 2, 1965 in Grayson 
County, Ky.  Mr. KIPER was the son of Bobby Gene and Joyce Carol SHARTZER 
KIPER, who survive.  He was a self-employed car salesman, a U.S. Army veteran, 
and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.  Survivors include:
his wife, Mrs. Cheryl KIPER
one daughter
one son:
Chris KIPER of Harned, Ky
one sister
one brother
his grandfather:
Hubert KIPER of Leitchfield, Ky (Grayson County)
     Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 19, 2002 at Corinth 
Baptist Church, McQuady, Ky in Breckinridge County.  Burial was in the New 
Bethel Cemetery under the direction of the Trent-Dowell Funeral home in 
Hardinsburg.  Military Rites were conducted by Hardinsburg VFW Post #5831.
