     Edgar F. KIPER, age 95 of Colfax, Illinois (McLean County), and formerly 
of Hudson in Breckinridge County, died at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 
2018 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, Illinois, also in McLean 
County.
     His funeral will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Colfax, with Pastor Dan Jassman, officiating.
     A second funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 
at the Calvert Community Church, McDaniels, Ky in Breckinridge County.  Burial 
will be in the Calvert Community Church Cemetery, McDaniels, Ky.
     Mr. KIPER was born on November 16, 1922 in McDaniels, Ky, the son of Ezra 
and Della Mae ESKRIDGE KIPER.  He married Anna SADDLER on August 2, 1943.  She 
died on July 18, 2010.
                            Survivors include:
three sons
two daughters
one daughter-in-law
11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert KIPER; three sisters, Bernice 
RIDGEWAY, Lena KIPER, and Ida Alena KIPER, and two brothers, Orville and Roland 
KIPER.
     Mr. KIPER was a lifetime farmer who always had a huge garden.  He had 
formerly been employed as a plant foreman at Huron Copy Set in Leitchfield, Ky 
retiring in 1987.  He was a member of the Calvert Community Church.
