     Catherine KIPER, age 86, of Leitchfield, Ky., passed away on Thursday, 
March 2, 2017 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.  She 
was born on April 15, 1930 in Hardinsburg, Ky (Breckinridge County), the 
daughter of the late William McKinley and VeVia EMBRY WHITTEN.  She was a 
homemaker, and a cook for the Leitchfield Healthcare Manor, and a member of 
the First Baptist Church.
Surviving her are:
one daughter
two sons
one daughter-in-law
6 grandsons
2 granddaughters
a close cousin and a life-long friend
     Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Halbert 
KIPER and a son, Larry KIPER.
     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 
the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.  Burial will be in the Calvert 
Cemetery.
