Pete Logsdon had gone to help him strip tobacco, and on not finding him at the house, went to look for him and found him at the barn dea. He had left a note at the house saying he was tired of life; also he wanted to be buried at Raymond at which place he was interred January 2,1913. He was unmarried and lived alone. He would have been 34 years old June 29, 1913. his funeral was preached by Rev. Jaggers, of Vine Grove, from Job 10,1 (there is a blurp on the page and hard to read the numbers), "My soul is weary of life." The people know no cause for this sad act of his. he leaves one brother and a number of other relatives to mourn for him.
