Mr. Jesse Arthur Lake, 84, of Vanzant, died Wednesday, August 13 (1969) at the 
Breck-Haven Nursing Home (in Hardinsburg).  Born June 17, 1885 in Ohio County, 
Ky, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry T. Lake.  Surviving are:

Pearlie Virginia Lake
two sons:
Jesse Arthur Lake, Jr., Louisville
William Henry Lake, Vanzant
five daughters:
Mrs. Gladys Erie Farmer, Fairmont, Indiana
Mrs. Edith Cynthia Burton, Marion, Indiana
Mrs. Lillie Mae Matthews, Vanzant
Mrs. Mary Louise Mitchener, Tipton, Indiana
Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth DeLong, Marion, Indiana
one brother:
Morris David Lake, Louisville
Funeral - Saturday, August 16 at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg
Burial - Macedonia Cemetery
Pallbearers:  Wallace Lake, Drexel Matthews, Carey Lake, Mark Matthews, Arthur 
Lake, and David Mitchener.
