OBITUARY
SHERMAN LASLIE
     Sherman LASLIE, age 64 of Harned, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on 
Friday, March 12, 1976, at Ireland Army Hospital at Fort Knox, Ky in Hardin 
County, after a short illness.  He was born on November 17, 1911 in Breckinridge 
County, a son of the late Peter C. and Maggie ARMES LASLIE.
     Mr. LASLIE was retired from the U.S. ARMY after serving for 21 years, and 
was an employee of the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.
Survivors include:
his widow, Mrs. Betty LASLIE
two sons:
Terry LASLIE of Harned, Ky
Lester LASLIE of Harned, Ky
4 grandchildren
a 1/2 brother:
Ava LASLIE of Harned, Ky
a 1/2 sister:
Mrs. Eva MOZINGO of Louisville, Ky
     The funeral was held on Sunday, March 14, 1976 from the Fairview United 
Methodist Church near SeRee, with Chaplain Turkleson, U.S. Army, Fort Knox, 
officiating.  Burial was in Fairview Cemetery with full military honors, with the 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.
