OBITUARY
Mr. Ava LASLIE, age 86, of Harned, Ky in Breckinridge County, died on Monday, 
November 12, 1984 at the Methodist Hospital in Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County).  
He was born in Breckinridge County on May 4, 1898, a son of the late Craven and 
Annie BROWN LASLIE.  Mr. Laslie was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Essie 
LASLIE and six children.  He is survived by:
four daughters:
Mrs. Billy (Anna) CLARK of Madisonville, Ky (Hopkins County)
Mrs. Kenneth (Edna) SHAEFFER of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. James (Bonnie) SOSH of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Eugene (Barbara) HOWARD of Louisville, Ky
one son:
J.C. LASLIE of Louisville, Ky
one sister: 
Mrs. Eva MOZINGO of Louisville, Ky
31 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 1984 at 
the Fairview United Methodist Church with the Reverend MacArthur Sosh, 
officiating.  Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery with the Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

Ava LASLIE has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery at 
SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
