Edward Ray Lawrence, Sr. age 77 of McDaniels,KY died Thursday, 1-3-2008 at his 
residence. 
He was born in Edmonson County,KY on 4-3-1930, the son of the late Edward 
Elwood Lawrence and Polly Florence Hardin Lawrence. He retired from the Bata 
Shoe Factory in Maryland and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
 
He is survived by his wife - Clara Jane Lawrence of McDaniels,KY
11 children: Edward Lawrence Jr, Ricky Lawrence and Steve Lawrence of Havre de 
Grace, MD
Randy Lawrence of Shawnee,OK
Robert Lawrence of North Platte, NE
Ronald Lawrence of Hardinsburg,KY
Bonnie Stone of Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany
Brenda Armstrong of Falls of Rough,KY
Gary Lawrence of Mauckport,IN
Larry Lawrence and Judy Kendell of Corydon,IN
Karen Brotzge of Prospect,KY
1 stepson - Wayne Hensley of Rising Sun,MD

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 1-5-2008 at 2PM CST at Mt. Zion 
Community Church with Bro. MacArthur Sosh officiating. Burial will be in the 
church cemetery. Visitation on Saturday from 10AM - 2PM CST at the church. 
Memorial contributions are requested to: Mt. Zion Community Church.
