     Eris E. LeGRAND, age 71, died on Monday, June 17, 1963 at the Breckinridge
Memorial 
Hospital, Hardinsburg, after a years' illness.  He had been at Bertha's Rest Home in

Hardinaburg, for four months.
    A retired farmer, he was for a number of years an elder in the Garfield
Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church, and active in all the church's programs, as long as health 
permitted.  His wife, Mrs. Mary LeGRAND, preceded him in death six years ago.  Mr. 
LeGRAND is survived by:
two sisters:
Mrs. Ben (Lena) BRUINGTON of Harned, Ky (Breckinridge County
Mrs. Laura BULLOCK of Harned, Ky
one brother:
Charlie LeGRAND of Garfield, Ky
     The funeral was held last Tuesday, June 18, 1963, at the Garfield Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church with the Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of 
arrangements.  Burial was in the Hensley Cemetery.
