OBITUARY

     Mrs. Essie Gertrude LESLIE, age 77, of Hudson, Ky., in Breckinridge 
County, died on Friday, November 24, 1978 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, 
Hardinsburg, following a lengthy illness.  A native of Grayson County, Ky, she 
was the daughter of the late Crave and Lucy TRIP SMITH.  She was the widow of 
S. C. LESLIE.
Survivors include:
two sons:
S. C. LESLIE, Jr. of Hudson, Ky
Joe LESLIE of Hudson, Ky
one sister:
Minnie GALLOWAY of Harned, Ky
     The funeral was held on Sunday, November 26, 1978, from the Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Hudson Cemetery.
