Janie Stribling Leslie, age 73 of Hudson,KY died Sunday, 3-2-2008 at 
Breckinridge 
Health,INC. She was born in Breckinridge County on 11-26-1934, the daughter of 
the 
late Charlie Frances and Mary Eliza Lucas Stribling. She was a member of 
Constantine
United Methodist Church, a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, gardening and 
farming 
with her husband.
 
She was preceded in death by a son - Ronnie
half sister - Ercie Butler and half brother - Jake Lucas
 
Janie is survived by her husband of 54 years - S.C. Leslie,Jr of Hudson,KY
2 sons - Bobby and Donnie Lucas of Hudson,KY
3 grandchildren: Dewayne, Jeremy and Amy Leslie
4 great grandchildren: Coty, Hunter, Braden and Tessa
1 sister - Pauline Lucas - Hudson,KY
half sister - Annie Whitworth - Constantine, KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 3-4-2008 at 1 PM CST at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Bro. Mac Sosh officiating. Burial will be in the Hudson 
Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 4-8 PM and after 8:30AM Tuesday.
