OBITUARY
Mrs. Fannie Mae LESLIE, an 85 year old Harned resident of Breckinridge 
County, died Saturday, January 7, 1989 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital 
in Hardinsburg, after a short illness.  She was born May 10, 1903 in 
Breckinridge County, the daughter of the late Willie and Alice LASLIE 
HARPER.  She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.  Her husband, 
Carl LESLIE, preceded her in death in 1978.  Surviving her are:
three sisters:
Ms. Jessie NIX of Westview, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Rachel CARMAN of Westview, Ky
Edith BUTLER of Harned, Ky
two brothers:
Sidney HARPER, a resident of Medco Center (Nursing Home), Hardinsburg, Ky
Lewis HARPER of Tolucca, Illinois (Marshall County)
and several nieces and nephews
     The funeral was held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 1989 at the 
Fairview United Methodist Church, with the Reverend George Allgood and the 
Reverend Elvas Graham, officiating.  Burial was in Fairview Cemetery under 
the direction of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, in charge of 
arrangements.

Mrs. Fannie Mae HARPER LESLIE has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist 
Church Cemetery at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.  Her tombstone reads: 
Mae HARPER LESLIE.
