MRS. LOCKARD DEAD
Bewleyville, Ky (Breckinridge County)  September 6, 1904  (Special)
     Mrs. Bettie LOCKARD died Wednesday, August 31, 1904, and was buried Thursday 
noon at the Old Stith burial grounds near town.  The Reverend HYNES preached the 
funeral in the church.  She had been a member of the local church for one year.




Additional Comments:
The cemeteries listed at the back of the Breckinridge County Cemetery Book, 
volume 1, that was published in 1991, are not included in the alphabetical list 
of burials in the front of the book.  I found the old Stith burial grounds:
STITH/BOARD Cemetery, located south of Highway 333, between Corners and Big 
Spring, near Gerry RAU (?farm).  Only two burials listed:
BOARD, Silas  03 Mar 1835 -- 10 Nov 1887
STITH, Sarah  05 Feb 1796 -- 19 Aug 1867  wife of Richard
I have no idea if Mrs. Bettie LOCKARD is related to either of them, but she was 
buried here.
