OBITUARY
MARK LUKE LOGSDON, the son of Cagerton and Nancy HARTLEY LOGSDON.
He was born February 19, 1882 in Meade County, Ky
In August 1901 he married Bessie HORSLEY.  To this union were born two 
daughters and one son.  His wife, Bessie died October 17, 1929.
His second wife was Ellen PECOE who died April 24, 1940.
He was married to Emma WALLER on September 15, 1943.  She preceded him in 
death on March 31, 1961.
(NOTE: No obituary was found for Emma WALLER LOGSDON in the 1961 Breckinridge 
County Herald-News Newspaper microfilm).
Mr. LOGSDON is survived by:
two daughters:
Mrs. Leona VORIS of Versailles, Indiana (Ripley County)
Mrs. Alta GIBBS of Marengo, Indiana (Crawford County)
one son:
Mr. Joe LOGSDON of Union Star, Ky (Breckinridge County)
two sisters:
Mrs. Rose DURBIN
Mrs. Jennie LOGSDON
two brothers:
Howard LOGSDON
Paul LOGSDON
11 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews
     For several years he was employed as a timber worker and on road 
construction.  For the last 10 years of his active life he was employed in the 
Ohio State Hospital in Dayton, Ohio (Montgomery County).
     Due to ill health, he entered National Manor Nursing Home in Vandalia, 
Ohio (Montgomery County), where he died April 30, 1961.  He was age 70 years, 
2 months, and 13 days old.
     Mr. and Mrs Joe LOGSDON and Mrs. Betty LOGSDON HALL attended the funeral 
at Merengo, Indiana on Tuesday, May 2, 1961.
Burial was in Birdseye, Indiana Cemetery (Dubois County).
