OBITUARY
     Gilbert LUCAS, age 83 of SeRee, Ky in Breckinridge County, went to his 
heavenly home, Saturday, May 27, 2017.  He was born in Breckinridge County 
on March 12, 1934, the son of the late Jimmy LUCAS and Mary Belle SOSH.
     He was a Godly man who loved his church, and serving the Lord.  He 
loved his family, farming, hauling water, visiting and eating, especially 
his favorite foods -- biscuits and gravy, beans and cornbread.  He retired 
from White Stone Company in 2001, after working 40 years.
     He was preceded in death by:
four brothers:
Marvin LUCAS
Ralph LUCAS
Eugene LUCAS
Tommy LUCAS
two sisters:
Lucille CARMAN
Louise HALE

Gilbert is survived by:
his wife of 55 years, Bobbie KENNEDY LUCAS, SeRee, Ky
four children
5 grandchildren
eight great grandchildren
three brothers
two sisters
two sisters-in-law
     Funeral services will be held at Emmanuel Fellowship Church on 
Wednesday, May 31, 2017.  Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.  Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery is located between Mook and SeRee, 
in Breckinridge County.
