OBITUARY
ELLIS LUCAS   1919 - 1996
     Ellis LUCAS, age 77, of Garfield, Ky in Breckinridge County, died on 
Saturday, June 29, 1996 at University Hospital in Louisville, Ky  Mr. LUCAS was 
born on February 5, 1919 in Breckinridge County, a son of John W. LUCAS and 
Nellie CLARK LUCAS.  He was a farmer and carpenter.
Mr. LUCAS was preceded in death by:
one daughter, Glennie LUCAS
one sister:
Nellie DENNIS
two brothers:
Kelly and Marshall LUCAS

Mr. LUCAS is survived by:
three sons
7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren
two brothers:
Robert LUCAS of Hudson, Ky
John William LUCAS of Big Clifty, Ky
three sisters:
Vennie GRAHAM of Hudson, Ky
Cattie NALLEY of Illinois
Nennie EMBRY of Louisville, Ky
     Funeral services were held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg,  
(No date for funeral included).  Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Hudson.
