OBITUARY
MRS. VENNIE M. LUCAS
     Mrs. Vennie Mildred LUCAS, of Hudson, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died at 
Norton's Infirmary in Louisville, Ky., on Monday, July 2, 1973 at the age of 
55.  Mrs. LUCAS was born on October 28, 1917 in Breckinridge County, the 
daughter of the late James Thomas and Suda Elizabeth WOODS HOWARD.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond LUCAS in 1966.
She is survived by:
seven daughters:
Mrs. Lois CARMAN of Harned, Ky
Miss Mary Sue LUCAS of Hudson, Ky
Mrs. Ann RAMSEY of Route 2, Leitchfield, Ky
Mrs. Marge MEREDITH of Valley Station, Ky
Mrs. Jean BUREN of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Martha MARR of Shepherdsville, Ky
Mrs. Tina BAKER of Elizabethtown, Ky
five sons:
Russell LUCAS of Hudson, Ky   (John Russell)
Kenny LUCAS of Hudson, Ky     (Raymond Kenneth)
Roger LUCAS Hudson, Ky        (Stanley Roger)
Charles LUCAS of Hudson, Ky
Harold Thomas LUCAS of Louisville, Ky
10 grandchildren
one brother:
Albert HOWARD of Louisville, Ky
two sisters:
Mrs. Lena LUCAS of Hudson, Ky
Mrs. Edna SEBASTIAN of Hudson, Ky
     The funeral will be held from the Fairview Methodist Church on Thursday, 
July 5, 1973, at 1 p.m. CDT with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Hudson.  The 
body is at the Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
