OBITUARY

     Edna SOSH LUCAS, age 92, of Hardinsburg, Ky, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 
at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  She was born in 
Breckinridge County on April 7, 1924, the daughter of the late Kelly and Maudie 
PHIPPS SOSH.
     Mrs. LUCAS was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, cooking, raising a garden 
and canning.  She loved her family and their time together.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by:
her husband, Lester LUCAS
her brothers:
Henry SOSH
Herbert SOSH
her sisters:
Mary Belle LUCAS
Eva WILSON
a great grandson, Alvin David WHITFILL, Jr.

Mrs. LUCAS is survived by:
two daughters
five sons
13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild
and several step-grandchildren and their families.
     Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, 
on Saturday, July 9, 2016 with burial in Hudson Cemetery.
