Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings
Jodie Payne Lucas, age 86, of Hardinsburg, died Monday, July 21 at Medco Center 
of Hardinsburg.  She was born July 18, 1922, a daughter of the late Dow and 
Anna Davis Payne.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed reading and quilting and 
spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded 
in death by her husband, Jesse M. Lucas in February 1992.

Mrs. Lucas is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Greene of Harned; two 
grandchildren, Pat Fuqua of Hardinsburg and Brian Greene of Harned; two great-
grandchildren, Jazz Page of Winchester and Cory Murphree of Leitchfield and a 
sister, Mildred Armes of Falls of Rough.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 25 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Brother Marty Huddleston officiating.  Visitation will take 
place on Thursday, July 24, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and after 8:30 
a.m. on Friday until time of service. Burial will be in the Harned Cemetery 
under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
