OBITUARY
Charles Owen LUCAS, a 66-year old resident of Route 2, Hardinsburg, died Monday, 
January 5, 1981 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg, after a 
short illness.  He was born in Breckinridge County on November 20, 1914, the son 
of the late Wilbur and Minnie CARMAN LUCAS.
Surviving him are:
one daughter
three sons
six sisters:
Mrs. Essie SMOOT, Leitchfield, Ky (Grayson County)
Mrs. Esther BASHAM, Hudson, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Irene WHITWORTH, Hudson, Ky
Mrs. Mary DUNCAN, El Paso, Illinois (lies in Woodford and McLean Counties)
Mrs. Ruby BLAKLEY, Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
Mrs. Earlene RUSSELL, Louisville, Ky
two brothers:
Hobart LUCAS, Hudson, Ky
David LUCAS, Hudson, Ky
10 grandchildren
     Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 7, 1981 at 1:00 p.m. from the 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg with the Reverend Oscar Allen, 
officiating.  Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.

Charles Owen LUCAS has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist Church 
Cemetery at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
