     Mrs. Beatrice LYON, age 89, a resident of Custer in Breckinridge County, died
on 
Sunday, January 26, 2003, at the Medco Center (Nursing Home) in Brandenburg, Meade 
County, Ky.  Mrs LYON was born in Breckinridge County on January 22, 1914.  She was
a 
housewife and member of the Custer Church of God.  Her husband, Guy Estel LYON, Sr.,

preceded her in death.  Surviving her are:
one daughter
one son
7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Wednesday, January 29, 2003, at Trent-Dowell Funeral
Home, 
Hardinsburg, with the Reverend Raymond Capps officiating.  Burial was in Preston 
Cemetery near Custer.
