OBITUARY   Page 8, Column 1

     Lawrence E. LYON, age 62, of Custer in Breckinridge County, Ky., died on 
Thursday, October 18, 1979 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  A 
retired farmer, he was born in Breckinridge County on March 5, 1917, a son of
Richard 
LYON of Custer, who survives, and the late Mrs. Mabel SMITH LYON.
He is also survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Earline BENNETT LYON
one daughter
one son
two sisters:
Mrs. Lucille ALLEN of Constantine, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Aliene NORTON
two brothers:
Peyton LYON of Custer, Ky
Carl LYON of Custer, Ky
3 grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Sunday, October 20, 1979 from the Custer Church of God,

directed by the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Preston 
Cemetery, Custer.
