OBITUARY   Page 5
     Mellie Dean LYON, age 92, a resident of Constantine, Ky in Breckinridge 
County, died on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the Medco Center (Nursing Home) in 
Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County).  She was born February 26, 1913 in Breckinridge 
County, a daughter of the late Joel and Maggie DRAKE PRESTON.  She was a homemaker. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Peyton LYON; a son, Arlis E. LYON; 
and a grandson, Greg LYON.
Mrs. LYON is survived by:
three sons
13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at the Custer 
Church of God.  Burial was in Preston Cemetery in Custer under the direction of 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.
