Breckinridge News; Breckinridge County, Kentucky ; 3/3/1909
Roscoe Lyon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jno Lyon, was buried at the Good hope burying
ground the eleventh of February.  He had been effected with that dread disease,
consumption, for several years and we knew he was doomed, but when the test came to
give him up his friends were not ready.  He was a model son, loving brother and a
kind friend.  We wish there were more like him.  He leaves a father, mother, one
sister and three brothers.  They all have the sympathy of their many friends.

Additional Comments:
John is buried with his parents and sister, Roxie Belle Lyon.
