Mrs. Bradley Lyon Dies

Mrs. Lula Allen Lyon died at her home Wednesday afternoon Jan. 24, 1945 at the age
of 40 years, three months and 29 days.

She was united in marriage to Bradley Lyon, Oct. 5, 1918 and to this union seven
children were born, one preceding her in death 19 years ago.

Besides her husband she is survived by six children, two brothers and two sisters
and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her going.

She professed faith in Christ a number of years ago and lived a Christian life.  Our
loss on earth is heaven's gain.

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the Custer Methodist Church, with the
pastor, Rev. Perkins officiating.  The burial was in the Hare cemetery.  R. T.
Dowell was the undertaker.
