Meade County Messenger
Howard Leo Lyon, 73, died May 23, 2008, at the Fordsville Nursing and 
Rehabilitation Center. He was born Sept. 29, 1934, the son of Andrew Jackson 
and Fannie Belle Harned Lyon. 

He was a farmer.

Mr. Lyon is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Martin Lyon; a son, Darrell 
(Kathy) Lyon, Brandenburg; and two grandchildren, Darrell Justin Lyon and 
Cassandra Rose Lyon. 

Funeral services were held May 27 from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with 
Rev. Bob Cordle officiating. Burial was in the Lyon Cemetery, Custer.
