OBITUARY

     Mrs. Bessie Lee LYONS, age 76, a resident of the Masonic Widows and 
Orphans Home in Louisville, Ky in Jefferson County, died there at 4:00 a.m. on 
Tuesday, July 14, 1981.  She was born on September 11, 1905, in Breckinridge 
County, the daughter of the late John C. CURRY and Mary Jane FISCHER CURRY.  
Her husband, Amon LYONS, preceded her in death September 1, 1973.  She is 
survived by:
one sister:
Mrs. Shellie HOBBS
3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
and a host of nieces and nephews
     Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 13, 1981 from the 
chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington.  Burial was in the Hensley 
Cemetery.
