OBITUARY

     Bradley LYONS, age 81, of Route 3, Elizabethtown, Ky in Hardin County, died at
3:20 a.m. 
on Sunday, at the Miller Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee (Davidson County).  He was
a native 
of Breckinridge County, Ky., and was the son of the late Lemmie and Lora HAIR LYONS.
 He was 
a retired farmer.
Survivors include:
four daughters:
Mrs. William (Virginia) HICKS of Rineyville, Ky (Hardin County)
Mrs. Chester (Ina) McGUFFIN of Rineyville, Ky
Mrs. Melvin (Caroline) GEORGE of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
Mrs. Lee Roy (Claudine) SHERRARD of Elizabethtown, Ky
two-step sons:
Strother WHITWORTH of Vine Grove, Ky (Hardin County)
Coy WHITWORTH of Vine Grove, Ky
five step-daughters:
Mrs. Paul (Rosie) SUTTON of Constantine, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Irene CUNDIFF of Hardin Springs, Ky (Hardin County)
Kathleen COOGLE of Hardin Springs, Ky
Mrs. Berley SMALLWOOD of Cecilia, Ky (Hardin County
Mrs. Eleanor McATEE of Cecilia, Ky
He is also survived by a brother, a sister, 16 grandchildren, 23 great
grandchildren, and 6 
great great grandchildren.
     The funeral was held on Wednesday, March 1, 1978 at the Brown Funeral Home
Chapel in 
Elizabethtown, with the Reverend Elbert Cundiff officiating.  Burial was in the Hair
Cemetery 
in Breckinridge County.
