Anna Mae Dodson Lyons, age 80 of Irvington, KY died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 
Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Breckinridge County on 11-15-1928, 
the daughter of the late Edward and Eva Wilson Dodson. She was a homemaker who 
enjoyed quilting, gardening, working in her yard and being "Mama and Mamaw". 
She was a member of Custer United Methodist Church.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband - Rev. Stanley Lyons
grandson - Benjamin Todd Troxle
brothers - Henry Lewis Dodson and William Frederick (Pedge) Dodson
 
Mrs. Lyons is survived by 7 children:
Zandra (Boyce) Bruner of Mount Washington,KY
Dr. Douglas Carl (Patty) Lyons of Bowling Green, KY
Cavella (Rick) Robbins of Florence,KY
Jodetta (Leroy) Hale of Bowling Green,KY
Davalyn (Clarence Jr) Troxle of Hardinsburg,KY
Clotene (Russell) Currier of Lawrenceburg,KY
Opha Nathaniel (Celia) Lyons of Battletown,KY
1 sister: Lois Todd of Pueblo, Colorada
11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
 
Funeral services will be ehld on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11AM CDT at Custer 
United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Harris officiating. Burial will be 
in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 
on Friday from 4-8PM CDT and after 8:30AM CDT Saturday. Memorial contributions 
are requested to: Crusade for Children
