S. MATTINGLY E. S. MATTINGLY, age 69, a retired electrician for the Louisville & Nashville Railroad, died yesterday (August 24, 1953) while visiting a daughter, Mrs. Earl BOYD, in Odenton, Maryland (Anne Arundel County). MATTINGLY was a member of Ninth and O Baptist Church for 25 years. He was a Mason. Other survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Letitia MATTINGLY another daughter: Mrs. Robert HARRELL two sons: Sgt. Lewis G. MATTINGLY of Savannah, Georgia (Chatham County) W. O. MATTINGLY of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County) two sisters: Mrs. Lannie POOLE of Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County) Mrs. D. D. LeGRAND of Louisville, Ky 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren The body is at Heady's Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Boulevard. Additional Comments: #0172 Hensley-Dowell Cemetery, located at Hensley, Ky at the junction of highways 60 and 86, near Garfield, in Breckinridge County.
