OBITUARY
VERNON ELWOOD MATTINGLY
     Vernon Elwood MATTINGLY, age 47 of Caneyville, Ky in Grayson County, died on 
Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at his residence.  He was born on February 8, 1956 in 
Hardinsburg, Ky., Breckinridge County, the son of William Edward and Agnes 
Jeanette LANGLEY MATTINGLY.  He was a self-employed construction worker.  He was 
preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by:
one son
2 grandsons
two brothers:
John William MATTINGLY of Falls of Rough, Ky
Norman C. MATTINGLY of Bowling Green, Ky
one sister:
Navada CAMPBELL of Bowling Green, Ky
and several nieces and nephews
     Funeral Services will be at noon on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at the 
Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, Ky.  Burial will follow in the Fairview 
Cemetery in Breckinridge County.
