MATTINGLY James E. MATTINGLY, a 59 year old Louisville, Ky resident in Jefferson County, formerly of Breckinridge County, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 1993 at the University Of Louisville Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born January 13, 1934 in Breckinridge County. Mr. MATTINGLY was a son of Sara Margaret HAYCRAFT of Harned, Ky and the late Jesse Clinton MATTINGLY. He was a carpenter. Surviving in addition to his mother is: a son, James F. MATTINGLY of Leitchfield, Ky a sister, Helen FOGLE of SeRee, Ky two brothers: Harold COOK of Atlanta, Georgia Bobby COOK of Tell City, Indiana 2 grandchildren The funeral was held on Friday, April 23, 1993 from the chapel of the Wallace Funeral Home in Cloverport.
