JAMES F. MATTINGLY   1957-1999
     James F. MATTINGLY, 42 years old, of Cloverport, Ky, died on Thursday, July 
29, 1999, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky.
     He was born in Hardinsburg on February 15, 1957, Mr. MATTINGLY was a son of 
the late James E. MATTINGLY and Myra Pauline EMERY MATTINGLY.  He was a member 
of the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Nashville.
Surviving are:
his wife, Donna MATTINGLY
one son
one daughter
2 grandchildren
and a half-brother
     Graveside services were conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at 
Pisgah Cemetery.  Wallace Funeral Home, Cloverport, was in charge of 
arrangements.
