Mr. MATTINGLY had been almost an invalid for the past year. He was well-known throughout the county, and at the time of his death, was in his 89th year. Mr. MATTINGLY was first married to Miss Laura McGARY, and to this union several children were born, but only two survive. They are: Hilary MATTINGLY of Decatur, Illinois (Macon County) Mrs. Lula PULLIAM of Covington, Kentucky (Kenton County) He was later married to Miss Mollie BLENN (should be Mary J. BLAND), who is also a survivor. Miss Mary Jo MATTINGLY of this city (Cloverport), and Mrs. I.H. BECKER of Tell City, Indiana (Perry County), are grandchildren of Mr. MATTINGLY. There are three other surviving grandchildren. The funeral was conducted at the St. Romuald's Catholic Church on Thursday morning by the pastor, the Reverend Martin Rosengarten, and the burial was held in the St. Romuald Cemetery. McGARY and Ellen HINTON. Charles and Laura married in 1865. MATTINGLY, Cornelia KENNEDY "Nealy" 13 Oct 1862 -- 29 Jun 1916 Cornelia was the daughter of John KENNEDY and May BLAND. Nealy was the second wife of Charles. They married in 1902. CRAVEN, wife of Reason T. CRAVEN on tombstone 25 Oct 1853 -- 09 Jun 1923 This is Amanda Frances "Mandy" CISSELL CRAVEN MATTINGLY, the third wife of Charles MATTINGLY, and Reason CRAVEN was her first husband. Charles and Amanda married in 1916. Amanda was the daughter of James Edward CISSELL and Elizabeth Minta LANCASTER. CRAVEN, Reason T. (Thomas), called "Rese" 1844 -- 1915 MATTINGLY, Mary J. "Mollie" BLAND 11 Jun 1874 -- 11 Dec 1936 Married Charles MATTINGLY as his fourth wife in 1924, and was married to Charles when he died in 1929. The daughter of Samuel BLAND and Mary COOMES.
