OBITUARY
     R.L. (Robert Lawrence) MATTINGLY, age 76, of Rhodelia, died Saturday, 
April 14, 1991 at his residence.  He was born in Breckinridge County, Ky on 
February 26, 1915.  He was the son of Edward and Mary Lula REDMAN MATTINGLY.
     Mr. MATTINGLY was a retired farmer.  Prayer services were held in the 
chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 1991, by 
Father Albert Wilson.  He is survived by:
his wife, Stella STIFF MATTINGLY
6 sons
one brother:
Lawrence (can't be correct) MATTINGLY of Louisville, (Jefferson County)
16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 1991, 
from Saint Theresa Catholic Church with Father Albert Wilson officiating.  
Interment was in Saint Theresa Cemetery.
