The cause of death was inflamation of the bowels -- a sudden death. He took sick last Thursday and died on Sunday. He was about 55 years old. He leaves his widow and seven children. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He was buried Monday afternoon at the Catholic Cemetery at this place (Jolly Station). Please note: Hillory McGARY was buried in Hardinsburg. Additional Comments: Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991: St. Romuald Catholic Church and Cemetery. Highway 259. Cemetery lies between the Parish Church and the northern limits of the city of Hardinsburg, Ky., in central Breckinridge County. McGARY, Robert W. Jan 22, 1876 -- Oct 16 1899 son of H. M. & M. (Hillory) M. Jun 23 1842 -- Oct 29 1899 Hillory and his son, Robert, died 13 days apart. I could not identify Hillory's wife with a tombstone.
