OBITUARY
     Genieve NORTON MEADOR, age 88 of Guston, Ky., in Meade County, died Saturday, 
April 25, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, Ky.  She was born to 
the late Elijah Martin "Martin" NORTON and Cora Mae MCCUBBINS NORTON.
     She was retired from Civil Service at Fort Knox, Ky, and was a member of the 
Ekron Baptist Church, and loved to garden.
Genieve was preceded in death by:
her husband, James MEADOR
two brothers:
Gilbert NORTON
Harold NORTON
     She is survived by:
one son
one daughter
two sisters
2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Alexander 
Funeral Home, Irvington.  Burial followed in the Freedom Cemetery.

     



Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
