OBITUARY

     Clyde MERCER, age 92, of McDaniels, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on 
Sunday, June 1, 1986 at Medco Center (Nursing Home), Hardinsburg, after a lengthy 
illness.  He was born in Breckinridge County on March 4, 1894, a son of the late 
Nick and Maggie WHITE MERCER.  He was a farmer.  His wife, Mrs. Hallie MERCER 
preceded him in death in 1976.
He is survived by:
one sister:
Mrs. Lula WHITWORTH of Indiana
and several nieces and nephews
     The funeral was held today (Wednesday, June 4, 1986) at the Hudson United 
Methodist Church, under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  
Burial will be in Hudson Cemetery.
