Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings
Sherry Lynn Mercer, age 47 of Cloverport,KY died Sunday, 7-13-2008 at her 
residence. She was born in Breckinridge County on 4-21-1961. She was a member 
of the Kentucky Nurse's Association. Sherry was a devoted mother and 
grandmother.
 
She was preceded in death by her daughter - Abigail Mercer and her father - 
Henry Jackson Payne, II
 
Sherry is survived by her mother - Ada Payne of Hardinsburg, KY
4 children: Robert and Daniel Payne of Texas
Justin Mercer and Chelsea Mercer of Cloverport, KY
1 sister - Carey Adams of Cloverport, KY
2 brothers - Henry Jackson Payne, III of Texas and matt Jason Payne of Ohio
3 grandchildren - Drake, Desmond and Cedrick
 
Private services were held under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 
with burial in the New Highland Cemetery.
