OBITUARY

CARL WILLIAM MEYER  1926 - 1998
     Carl William MEYER, age 72, a (?native?) of Louisville, Ky, died Sunday, 
October 18,1998 at the Audubon Hospital in Louisville.  Mr. MEYER was born on 
February 1, 1926 in Floyd County, Indiana.  A son of the late Henry and Dorothy 
KOEHLER MEYER.
     He was retired from Stratton & Terstegge, was a Korean War veteran with the 
45th Armored Division, and honorable discharge Corporal of the US Army, was a 
member of the Hudson Masonic Lodge, and a member of St. Marks United Church of 
Christ in New Albany, Indiana.
     Survivors are:
his wife, Mrs. Velma Lee HUDSON MEYER
three sisters
one brother
several nieces and nephews
     The funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 21, 1998 from the 
Hudson United Methodist Church.  Burial was in the Hudson Cemetery; Watkins 
Funeral Home, Leitchfield, in charge of arrangements.
Masonic Rites were given Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
