OBITUARY

     Mrs. Atha MILAM, age 74, of Union Star, Ky in Breckinridge County, died 
on Wednesday, January 7, 1970, at the Brumfield Nursing Home in Union Star.  
She was born in Breckinridge County on May 11, 1895, a daughter of the late 
William and Cora SHELLMAN BRUMFIELD.  She is survived by several nieces and 
nephews.
     Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 1970 from 
the Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Shellman Cemetery, 
Union Star.

#0316 Shelman Cemetery (Old Shiloh Church), located in a field north of Lick Run
about 2.5 miles 
from Highway 144.  Take paved road just west of Mr. George Shelman's farm, go 1.5
miles, take 
gravel road to left and follow this road one mile.

Breckinridge County.  He has a tombstone  17 Aug 1880 -- 30 Jan 1954  the son of
John MILAM and
