OBITUARY   Page 4

     Mrs. Mamie HICKERSON MILLER, a 95-year-old resident of Route 2, 
Hardinsburg, died Thursday, December 14, 1995, at Breckinridge Memorial 
Hospital in Hardinsburg.  Born March 2, 1900, in Breckinridge County, Mrs. 
MILLER was the daughter of the late Logan HICKERSON and Sally ROBBINS 
HICKERSON.  She was a housewife, a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, a 
former member of the Cloverport and the Breckinridge County School Boards, and 
was a Kentucky Colonel.  Her husband, Orville MILLER, Sr., preceded her in 
death on March 3, 1985.  Mrs. MILLER is survived by:
two daughters
one son 
one brother:
Stanley HICKERSON of Hardinsburg, Ky
8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great grandchild
     Funeral services were held on Monday, December 18, 1995 at the New Bethel 
Baptist Church.  Burial was in the New Bethel Cemetery, under the direction of 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.
