OBITUARY

     James Thomas MILLER, age 62, of Route 1, Irvington, Ky., in Breckinridge 
County, died at 1:10 a.m. at his home on Saturday, May 2, 1992, following a 
lengthy illness.
     He was born September 11, 1929 in Breckinridge County, the son of the 
late Jessie MILLER and Linnie BEARD MILLER.  He was a retired carpenter and 
farmer.  A son, Darrell Edward MILLER, preceded him in death in 1990.
He is survived by:
his wife, Ruby SMOOT MILLER
two daughters
four sons
one sister
five brothers
11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren
several nieces and nephews
     Funeral services were held on Monday, May 4, 1992 from the chapel of 
Pool-Willoughby-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Dry 
Valley Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE:
Kenneth DICKERSON, Freddie CARMAN, David MILLER, Glenn HINES, Charlie 
HUTCHINS, and Greg CARMAN.
Bill JACOBS was an Honorary Pallbearer.
